Great review (because Rex Reed and Ebert didn't understand what was happening in the movie and to some extent EW) and you touch on the elements that make it such an awesome movie.

One quibble, the "kids" are actually college students (one is pre-med), so I think the actors were age appropriate.

Awesome movie, definitely not your average "killer in the woods" horror flick.

Big fan of Chris Hemsworth after watching Thor. Watched Cabin in the Woods after seeing Thor and overall I was pleased by the movie, despite not being a huge fan of the horror movie genre. Definitely not a superhero movie, but overall pleased.
