Cosmopolis was an absolutely god awful novel. I assume turning it into a movie could only improve it as it would at least make the dialog clearer. (In the novel, everyone speaks in exactly the same, stilted way, making it really hard to tell who says what.) However I think nothing could save it from being narcissistic bullshit.
