I'm sure this movie is incredible, but film doesn't have hard and fast rules. It can be as visual or as political it wants to be. But politicos and ideologues never really get the multi-functionality of art. Film must be this thing or that thing, and any film that isn't one is the other, and must be denounced. It's tiring, and bogs down your whole review.
