This was at SIIF about three years ago with the drummer from the film. It's a great, great film (watch it with 30 Feet from Stardom for a good compliment).

From what I heard on Tedesco's WTF interview the main impediment to releasing the movie was music licensing and/or copyright clearances. Protecting the IP of the record labels was actually preventing the documentation of their history.

Heard a little about them a few years ago, great musicians......I hope the were paid well.
