Everyone agrees that what's being allowed to happen in Darfur is a world-historic, humanity-incriminating nightmare. Next week, everyone can do something to help just by eating and drinking. Tuesday, March 4 brings the second annual Dine for Darfur benefit, when select restaurants and cafes throughout Seattle will donate 25 percent of the day's proceeds to support relief efforts in Darfur. Among the many participants: King's Hardware, Pagliacci Pizza, Palace Kitchen, Top Pot Doughnuts, Caffe Vita, the Cha Cha Lounge, Macrina Bakery and Cafe, Blackbird Bistro, Mission, the Hangar Cafe, St. Clouds, Madrona Eatery and Ale House, Via Tribunali, Agua Verde Cafe, and all six branches of the event-organizing Chow Foods (Coastal Kitchen, the 5 Spot, Atlas Foods, the Hi-Life, Mioposto, Endolyne Joe's).
