I don't have time to read this piece in The Atlantic right now, so I'm just going to quietly freak out anyway*:

But this quote from the Monsanto website did catch my eye: "There is no need for, or value in testing the safety of GM foods in humans." They can't even use a comma correctly, and we're supposed to etc.

FREAK OUT!!!

*I should say "continue to quietly freak out," because this is what sensible people have been doing all along. Also, the image of the stitched-up apple is extra freaky-outty.
