Nook is normally just a tiny, adorable cafe on the Ave that makes unstoppably delicious biscuits. This morning, you can get those biscuits—with jam, Nutella, bacon-egg-cheddar, gravy, etc.—until they sell out (usually by noon). Then tonight, the people who co-owner Alex Green worked for at a small soba shop in Japan are in town, making homemade noodles with duck or oysters, plus appetizers and dessert. It’s like a pop-up ticket to Tokyo! (Nook, 4754 University Way NE
, 268-9154, 5–8 pm, $10 with reservation/$12 walk-in)
