I'll check these guys out. I've been going to Queen Sheba in Capitol Hill for near 20 years now, and I've never found anywhere better even though I've eaten Ethiopian all across the country.

Charles, are you saying that Teklu replaces the clarified butter -- so essential to Ethiopian food -- entirely with olive oil?

I am curious, but skeptical.

I've been to Abay three times now and every time it's been great, everything I've ordered. It's the best Ethiopian in Seattle, honestly. I highly recommended and I've already taken out of town friends there who loved it too.
