It's depressing to hear that the City of Seattle is forcing these proposed cat cafes to go through permit hell. Hopefully their process won't be as brutal and byzantine as the eight year slog Magnolia residents were forced through (at a cost of hundreds of thousands of $$$) to obtain a 0.52 acre dog park. Seattle.gov should be ashamed of itself, but unfortunately it is shameless.
Portland's first cat cafe opened last month. Because, you know, they're hipper.
