Do these alums also have a "service charge" model or do they use some other tip distribution system ?

They serve miniscule portions, albeit very tasty ones. We had a bizarre experience there, with a 14 dollar appetizer barely visible on the plate. They were attentive and pleasant, but the food was way over priced. This seems to be a common theme lately, tiny plates for big bucks.
