It was awesome Laotian food. The laap and papaya salad taste just as good as what I had on the streets of Luang Prabang. Both se and the older gentleman are really nice and friendly.

Sadly, I went there last night and the menu seems to have shrunk to just basic Thai dishes. Thigh I loved her energy and did want to help, the food was nothing special. It was very oil-ly and soaked in msg. I dig a good hole in the wall and love street food, but this doesn't seem to be holding up to the pressure.

Thank you so much for this great write-up on my mom, Beng Rajsombath. Sadly, my mom passed away on December 20, 2015 while visiting her hometown of Seno, Savannakhet, Laos. Your article was a source of great pride, encouragement and a sense of accomplishment for my mom. She was a passionate woman....passionate about food, about people, about generousity, and about achieving her dreams. She worked hard her whole life and never gave up on anything she set her mind out to do. We, her children, were against the idea of her opening this business but she was stubborn and forged ahead with it all by herself. She was relentless and fearless and she gave this little hole in the wall everything she had...and I mean everything...financially, physically, and emotionally. Even though she was tired and exhausted every single day, she was truly happy. The happiest that I have ever seen her in a long time. Song Phang Kong was the final, and may be one of her greatest, achievements in life, even if only for a short time. Thank you for being a part of it and for keeping her memory alive. She won't be forgotten and will live on through your kind words, and for that, we are sincerely grateful.
