I've thinking about stuffing and roasting a pumpkin. Done it in the past and like it a lot.
2
There is literally nothing you can do to a pumpkin to make it tolerable. Talking about it makes it worse.
3
Pumpkins are delicious and not just as dessert.

The problem is the "pumpkin spice" anything just tastes like shit and has nothing to do with the actual plant.
4
Does pumpkin spice actually have pumpkin in it? I don't think so.

Rachel seems to be conflating "cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and sometimes allspice" (per Google) with the gourd itself.

5
Pumpkin seeds, YUMMMM!!!
6
That Ellenos yogurt is the bomb. Yes, it has real pumpkin in it and yes it is amazing.
7
I am badly surprised to see a food writer who apparently thinks "Pumpkin spice" and pumpkin are the same. Maybe on the planet in "Dune."

@4 and @7 - Yes! The conflation of 'pumpkin spice" the spice mixture, with "pumpkin and spice" well, pumpkin and pumpkin spice, drives me absolutely bonkers. I like the spices, not so crazy about "pumpkin and spice" everything. Hopefully the madness will soon die out - permanently.

She DROVE to Bellevue? Shame on her. There are buses that would have gotten her there.

Pumpkin is delicious and I never object to the flavor of pumpkin.

Pumpkin spice flavored foods, on the other hand, often are flavored with traditional pumpkin pie spices minus any pumpkin. As such, they can taste acrid and unpleasant. Calling something "pumpkin" spice can be totally misleading if it's just the spice without even a hint of pumpkin. No wonder pumpkin has gotten such a bad rap.
