People that live on 12th have to go to Broadway or 15th for food, which is no big deal, but it's nice to have a place even closer now, in Chungee's. I went right after their opened and ordered something with tofu and vegetables. I asked for it to be "to go" and then I sat at the bar and waited 25 minutes for it. When I got it home I realized I waited that long for tiny chunks of soft tofu in a brown sauce with what looked like "vegetable medley" (carrots and peas, available in every grocery's frozen section). It was pretty disappointing, but maybe I should have just asked more questions before I ordered. The Ginger Pancake made the meal for me, it was realy tasty, especially dipped in a curry sauce. I would go back for a pancake and a beer. I'm sure they will find their stride. I could suggest better descriptions in them menu (for those of us not familiar with Cantonese food.)
