New Places for Stuffing Faces

RE: Sam's, that was pretty much my assessment. The burger was cooked to just slightly less than the consistency of shoe leather; the bun was dry, as if it had been left out of the package overnight, or been left in the package for a week; and the "bottomless fries" were so oil-soaked and limpid that I can't imagine anyone wanting more than what was in the basket - assuming they could choke down even that portion in the first place.
I was at Brass Tacks on Saturday night and must say, it's pretty incredible. They had a great band playing live, unassumingly fabulous decor that is stylish but welcoming at the same time.

The food....good dear lord, the glorious food. Beyond incredible. Go for the biscuit mac & cheese, stay for the apple / white cheddar cobbler and have everything in between. Fantastic.
