The employees at Bluebird recieve almost zero training and communication from the management. Don't blame the soda jerks, blame the jerks running the place.

My mom used to sign the G.O.Guy song every time we went to the last one I remember, on Pacific Highway South just North of the airport. It was near the Lewis and Clark bowling alley, but is now just a parking lot.

Interesting article but how can you write about Bluebird creamery and not mention that it is also (apparently) a brewery. I've been staring at this place from a safe vantage point at the 74th St Alehouse thinking: "Why…..How….?" for days. Do they make beer milkshakes?

100% agree on your take of Bluebird. Such a fine, simple idea so badly executed. Horrible experiences every time: customer service & product. At the greenwood location as well! Such a shame!

I've never had a bad experience at the Greenwood location outside of the girl making the waffle cones bare-handed also handling money, but hey. I ride the bus bare handed, so a few more germs...whatever. The line is often out the door, and in spite of the heat and crowd, the staff is always super nice and knowledgeable about their product.

I agree. This restaurant is the pits!
