I miss Licorous, too! The bite-and-a-cocktail format was so wonderful. and the food was great there, too. You could find so many of the city's cooks hanging out there after a dinner shift.

I came to the comments expecting to find SLOG commenter Lark saying, "Aw, shucks!" in response to the headline. But he's not here. I guess that's part of the "understated" aspect.
