Meh. I wanted to like this place, but it's way overpriced, and the food is mostly undistinguished. And $3.50 for a single tiny serving of bread is a separate and unpardonable crime.

What nedludd2 said (2x. Dude). I went to this place a week after it opened, because I love seafood and seafood restaurants. The food, while delicious was not only overpriced, but the portions were small, a point I raised with the waitstaff, as I figured that this was the kind of feedback thats good for a brand new restaurant. Sadly I havent been back to see if anything has changed; sounds like it has not.

I refuse to go to this place. Too many restless ghosts. I loved Angie's, and I miss it terribly. I like a lot of the changes that have come to Columbia City, but until a new dive bar opens up to welcome the wandering spirits of Rainier Valley I will not set food in this restaurant.

And incidentally, I'm making 11 cents an hour working from home. You can too.

Oh Columbia City - the white ghetto. Full disclosure, I live close by and I must say when I was at this place (and Geraldine's as well), I have heard the conversations about how diverse CC is. Really? Yes, it was mixed with all kids of folks at one time but that was like in the late 80's, early 90's...now it is no different than that of Fremont, Ballard and basically the entire city. Just because of some false bullshit story about being the most diverse zip code and you "purchased early" does not make for a great 'hood.

I liked Salted Sea however left not terribly excited like other places around town, like Lionhead or Eve for example.

@8, send me the link! .11 cents an hour, I am down!!

good luck to this restaurant. sounds like everyone who lives nearby is predisposed to hate it.

The new Columbia city reminds me of downtown Kirkland 7 years ago.

Please wait...
