A Pizza Mart is mediocre at best...not worth the walk up the ave if you don't live north of 50th.

A Pizza Mart has totally changed in the past 10 years although I think it still has the original owners. Some before and after video would be good to see.

A few years back they did a total redesign of the place, got a liquor license, and then they suddenly became a cool place to hang out if you were one of those non-frat slightly fratish types.

They also had to toy with their pizza prices (and hours) to compete with the nearby Pizza Ragazzi. Both of those places have unremarkable pizza, but it's designed for those ordering at 3am and who don't really care about quality.

This place is amazing. Bar far the best bar on the ave in my opinion. Great happy hour, wonderful staff, tacky in the best sense of the word and cheaaaap! For the people who think it's gross - when was the last time you went in there? They did another complete remodel last year -- the place ROCKS!

the downtown a pizza mart is the grossest place. maybe the u district one is better.

I generally love disgusting bars, but this place is intolerable. Was offered methamphetamine by a man who looked like Joe Isuzu while stoned chubby college girls drank fruity beverages.
