Hash, how does the solventless process for producing hash compare to worldwide traditional processes? When I did my stint in the Army, stationed in Germany, we could get hash from many countries, Morocco, Afghanistan, Lebanon, etc. Lebanese Red was a standard product. It would be cool to see legalization proceed to the level where there could be worldwide trade, back then it was worldwide smuggling...…
There's an idea for another column, traditional processes for producing hash that evolved since ancient times and comparisons to our newer processes.
Sitka makes traditional Lebanese hash here in Washington state. It's quite authentic and in fact they make a Lebanese Red.
(Disclaimer: I own OZ. Recreational Cannabis and we carry Sitka products, including their hash.)
Worldwide trade would be interesting but honestly from what I've seen products in areas with legalization blow away products from areas where it is not legal. We'll need to see a global change before it's worth bringing actual Lebanese hash to Washington.
(Example, the Maui Wowie that is grown in Washington is better than that available on the black market in Maui, no kidding.)
