How about we stop allocating public housing (paid for by all taxpayers) to affinity groups (LGBTQ, Native American, etc) and instead provide it based on need and likelihood of success in rehabilitation.

Are you stable in a drug treatment program? Great, here's public housing to help get you back on your feet. We don't care if you are black, white or purple. We don't care if you are cis or trans, straight or gay.

If trans people want their own exclusive housing, they should be made to pay for it.
