How appropriate that this is timestamped 4:20 pm.

2

I love the imagery of a Girl Scout of the Apocalypse. That was great.

The Stranger uses a comically terrible house-built Content Management System for SLOG, but it does at least let them set a future publication time for a post.

In other words, it weren't no coincidence. They've been running a post at 4:20 most days for quite a while now.

@4

They publish Mudede at 4:20 whenever he tries to take on Astronomy or particle physics.

That's it--my diet is blown. Lucky you, Rich!

Huh, it turns out that a full box of Thin Mints is about the amount of energy I need to bike to my favorite Thai place and back home; so, not all that much for an active adult. I was going to suggest Rich might have an iron deficiency and crave chocolaty things… chocolatey… both of those look wrong… chocolate as a result, but a full box is really not all that much for an axtive adult, so I guess I'm on board with Rich's serving size, stoned or not.

@7 "Huh, it turns out that a full box of Thin Mints is about the amount of energy I need to bike to my favorite Thai place and back home; so, not all that much for an active adult." You joking? 160 calories in 4 cookies * 8 servings = 1,280 calories per box (from girl scout website). 600 calories burned in 10 miles of cycling so * 2 trips = 1200 calories, unless you live 10+ miles away from your favorite Thai place...

@4,

From each according to his ability, to each according to his weed.

Dip them in peanut butter. Very delicious.

Pulitzer material

@7: Looks like someone else already did the math, but your idea of how many calories you burn doing exercise is completely wack.

Also, 1,200 calories is more than half of what many adults need per day total just to maintain weight.

I kind of hope you are joking, but it is this kind of insanely wrong evaluations of food and exercise that leads to really high obesity rates.

This is hilarious

Why am I 0% shocked Rich Smith took the cookies for himself and has no regrets, then writes a blog rationalizing it.

Very on brand my dude.
