To the woman who approached me on the light rail while I cried my eyes out: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You wrote me a note on a receipt, saying you hoped everything was okay, asking if there was anything you could do, and wishing me luck. You held my hand for a brief moment before you got off the train. I have to make a hard decision regarding someone I deeply love. I have a lot of anger toward myself right now. Your kindness made me feel a little okay. I'm glad you reached out to me, and I hope your kindness comes back to you.
