You park on my street and walk by my yard every day on your way to work. We used to address each other like civil human beings, but since then, I've found myself on the receiving end of your resentment more than once. I can't keep up with you. Sometimes you make it a point to flash your smile and wave, and sometimes you very deliberately regard me with disgust. I can only guess what I've done to piss you off. The only reason I can think of for your current wave of contempt is that I haven't responded to you in some way you thought I should. Or it could be that you're just another fucking asshole who thinks that basic human decency is beneath him. Either way, I am glad you're someone else's problem.
