How many people adhere to the limits? I’ll bet none. Cars, bikes, scooters will all kill a pedestrian.

@5 My bicycle (at a whopping seven miles per hour) isn’t going to kill anyone.
But more to the point, I Anonymous could easily run one column a week on the inexplicable driving behaviors that sloggers see every day.

In addition to calling you out for your carelessness, I’d like us all to take a moment to consider the dangerous hyper-individualism baked into commenting in a newspaper column. Once enclosed within the safety of your computer screen and keyboard, the community outside becomes a mere inconvenience. People are not human but rather obstacles that slow the speed at which you reach your very important conclusions.

@10 No Road Warrior/Mad Max movies were released in or around the 90s—early 80's, which were excellent or were released relatively recently. The next installment is Furiosa which is supposed to come out in '24. According to the last two anonymous postings, we might be living the experience by that time - oh boy!
