Well, anon. You had the nurse you needed at the right time. Keep in mind that Kaiser is it's own insurance plan as well as health care provider. So they are motivated to keep service efficient. Sometimes overly so.

But then I recently lost a good friend who had a touch of hypochondria. She got every drug she thought she needed, having read about them on the Internet. Thanks to some overly enabling physicians. When things went south on her, they went quite badly. Sometimes what you think of as good care is too good.
