Named after the grandfathers/grandfathers-in-law of owners Mark and Katie Stern (of the Big Picture theater), Henry and Oscar's is an upscale Belltown lounge and restaurant that recalls an America in which men wore suits, lunch included martinis, and small portions were tantamount to Communism. Executive chef Mark Wadhwani deploys his Ruth's Chris Steakhouse chops to make chops (sorry), steaks, stroganoff, and so forth, while the bar keeps the theme of big portions and maintains the clubby feeling with monogrammed glasses for regulars.
