Humble Pie feels like it was beamed via satellite from Portlandia—it's more of a pizza gathering space than a restaurant, with two attractively repurposed shipping containers serving as the buildings, nearly all outdoor seating, and a garden and live chickens providing some of the ingredients. It's at the otherwise weedy, trafficky corner of Rainier and Weller. The place is earnestly trying and has a lot of heart; everyone working is extremely nice. But the pizza is just all right, with good, fresh, plentiful toppings but pale, spongey, neutral-tasting crust.
