The Islander has no peer in Seattle: It's sparkling clean, spacious tiki bar with a competent kitchen and a palatable dash of kitsch. During the summertime, the deck affords a stellar view of Elliott Bay. The pupus from the long menu are great for sharing, and some of the fruity drinks are meals unto themselves. Happy hour features discounted pupus and cocktails. Occasional DJs and Hawaiian musicians enliven the scene at night.
