If sisters/owners Miki and Yuki Sodos can’t put you in a good mood for the day, nothing will. Excellently pulled espresso: check. Excellent sandwiches, soups, etc.: check. Good music in the air and good art on the walls: check. This may also be the only place in Seattle to get a decent breakfast burrito: the “Bang Bang” eggs, beans, potatoes, cheese, vegetarian sausage (they also serve Jimmy Dean sausage!), avocado, and sour cream. The burrito is topped with real, uncanned green and red chilies from New Mexico. This burrito is not pretentious; it is not made for art or applause. It is simply big, delicious, and made to be eaten.
