At Grim's, you can "Sit at long hand-crafted reclaimed wood, cafeteria style tables... and enjoy drinks in mason jars [in a] steampunk atmosphere," according to its website." It's got a Quinn's/Smith–hybrid interior: new weathered wood, fresh "worn" fleur-de-lis wallpaper, distressed metal, big long tables, salvaged this and that. If the space is trying really hard, the menu isn't—not-too-pricey snacks, sandwiches, and comfort-food entrees like tuna-noodle casserole or chicken parmesan—and an herbed leek and Asiago grilled cheese might be one of the best in town. Also quite good: the French dip.
