Four friends on the brink of independence deal with such hot topics as impulsive relationships, unexpected pregnancies, same-sex attractions, and the perils of playing hockey. Writer/director Esa Illi based the script on actual video diaries from Finnish teens, which explains the awkward realness of the emotions on display, as well as the occasional appearance of cartoon hearts in the background.
