Stranger Says:

The gray, rainy atmosphere of Iceland is a fitting backdrop to this story of adolescent angst. Thor and Christian are best friends living in a rural village doing the usual stuff: killing things, breaking things. But there is no room in this small, traditional place to be different. This is an intense little film, entirely set in the young people's world, and it does a good job of showing the confusion and energy of teenagers’ burgeoning sexuality as well as the intensity of friendships at that age. The young actors are achingly beautiful, as is the Icelandic landscape.
