In Brooklyn's insular, orthodox Borough Park community, Hasidic women are all but banned from interacting with men outside of their families—except when they're in labor, in which case their only option is to rely on care of men in the community’s volunteer ambulance center. In this doc, lawyer Rachel “Ruchie” Freier and a band of fellow Hasidic women work to form an ambulance service comprised solely of women.
