GOVERNOR'S CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES -- What musical profile of Gary Locke's stewardship can be determined by the programming of a reduction of Stravinsky's L'Historie du Soldat for Clarinet, Violin, & Piano; the polite folkisms of Kodaly's String Trio; Dvorák's emotive Piano Quintet Op. 81; and Ginastera's Sonata No. 1 for Piano? Personally, I'd rather have the complete Stravinsky, the rude folkisms of Bartók, and later Ginastera, but I'll leave the conclusions to the politically astute.
