PAST RESIDENCIES: "It all started with Blazin' at the Spot; next was Acerbic at Discretion. Later, my brother DJ Netti, DJ CTRL>, Chris Philips, OBLIX, and I began the first open-turntable night in Seattle. Initially called FreeBass, it became Logarythyms at the Lobo Saloon. From that, Hardline was born at Graceland. My most recent party was Submerge, a System 6 party at Consolidated Works, opening for Donald Glaude--definitely my best performance."

What do you spin?

"Hard techno, with a little non-commercialized breakbeat."

What are your favorites right now?

"Hawtin/Plastikman, Adam X, Bones, Mike Dearborn, DJ Rush. Labels: plus 8, Drop Bass, Novamute, Sonic Groove."

Who are your major influences and idols?

"I don't really idolize anyone but my father, who is practically a saint. My other influences are Randy Schlager, who first sparked my interest in DJ-ing in the early '90s; my love Chris, who honestly taught me what good techno is; DJ NAHA because she's so innovative and original; DJ OBLIX and Memo because of their loyalty and faith in Acerbic and their seemingly unending talent and creativity; and Terra Hymen, just because she's a fierce bitch."

What was your most memorable gig?

"My last performance at Submerge. The house was packed, the energy was high and really good, the sound system was badass, and my mixing was so tight the crowd was going off. I have never felt better than I did that night."

What music do you hate?

"Booty house, of course, and prepubescent girlie-pop R&B. You know who you are. Oops, I did it again!"

Ever been in a fistfight?

"Only once, with Terra Hymen. She kicked my ass!"

If you weren't a DJ, what would you be?

"Obsequious, purple, and clairvoyant."
