There are fancy bars and there are dive bars, and then there are plain old bar bars. Finn MacCool's, which touts itself as offering "the best head in Seattle"--apparently a reference to the Guinness on tap--falls into the latter category. It is a basic, conventional, eminently respectable drinking establishment. No frills, no extraneous bullshit. A small patio out front, booths and the bar in the center, a pool table in the back. Oh yeah, there's jazz on Wednesday nights, other bands on Saturdays, if that's your bag. Personally, I don't like music to get in the way of my drinking. SANDEEP KAUSHIK
