FRIDAY JUNE 4

KEEK OUT FREEK OUT SESSION

Seattle bon vivant, good-vibe merchant, and booker of quality electronic shows Fortune Kiki turns 30 tonight, and he's coaxed some of his buddies to soundtrack his entrance into that illustrious decade. Rising international stars Jacob London concoct quirky, razzle-dazzle house; tech-house/IDM veteran Matt Corwine makes a rare live appearance; and dark-hiphop magus Datz Cold brings some gravity to things with his demonic raps. DJ Colby B, Wesley Holmes, Doug, Jeromy Nail, and others fill out the bill. Chop Suey, 1325 E Madison St, 324-8000, 9 pm-2 am, 21+, free.

SATURDAY JUNE 5

DIZZY

Dizzy (Donald Eley) runs San Diego's Doubledown label with keen acumen, issuing deep, thumping house tracks by Johnny Fiasco, Onionz, JT Donaldson, and other mainstays. As a DJ, Dizzy's tribal-funk and Latin-jazz-tinged sets go heavy on cuts with hand percussion, and any fool knows that congas, timbals, cowbells, etc. always trump canned beats. With Jon Lemmon and Doug. Baltic Room, 1207 Pine St, 625-4444, 9 pm-2 am, 21+, $7 before 10:30 pm, $10 after.
