QUEER AS KOOK
Snacktray Studios celebrates Gay Pride at 911 Media Arts with a retrospective of KOOKtv Cinema's queerest moments. QUEER EYES: AN EXHIBIT OF GAY PHOTOGRAPHERS
Local artists display photographs that examine what it means to be queer in today's world, with classic studies of the male nude to documentary images of recent rallies for gay marriage. WORK IT! PRIDE FILM FEST
This year's second annual Out Front Labor/Pride at Work Pride Film Fest features the films Hope Along the Wind: The Life of Harry Hay (1 pm), A Swiss Rebel: Annemarie Schwarzenbach (2:15 pm), and From Bedside to Bargaining Table (3:20 pm). SEATTLE DYKE MARCH
The rally--featuring the Queen Bees, Derivative Duo, and guests speakers including Alma Rosa, Morgan Ahern, and Marla S. Nonken--starts at 5:30 pm at SCCC's South Plaza. The march will begin at 7 pm. Afterward, the Pride celebration continues with the Sistah2Sistah Gala Dance at the Rainier Yacht Club (9094 Seward Park Ave S) starting at 9 pm. This year's Pride March begins at 11 am at the corner of Broadway Ave and E Pike St and will end at Volunteer Park for the rally and festival.
