This refreshingly spare poster by Brian Roettinger showed up a few weeks ago up and down the Pike/Pine corridor and immediately caught my attention with its big, clean spaces and modern grid-based typesetting. Another appealing trait was that I didn't know what the hell it was for. I always like it when designers demand a little effort from the people. It shows confidence. CORIANTON HALE
