Somehow, I didn't think I would dig 58 minutes of Old Time Relijun's frontman wordlessly throat singing, pumping out drones on a shruti box, and bleating free jazz from his baritone sax. But I do. It turns out to be a pretty trippy, transportive hourâmessing with your sense of time and place, and shooting you out the other side pleasantly exhausted. Also, there's none of de Dionyso's usual bogeyman screeching, so it won't be as frightening for children, pets, and the elderly.
