Do you like heavy music and evil, but not like guttural Cookie Monster vocals and tiresome, overly technical metal? Black Breath may be just what you’re looking for. The Seattle band’s self-described “heavy metal rock ’n’ roll” doesn’t take itself too seriously, except in terms of rocking your brains out of your head. After touring much of Europe and the United States last year, Black Breath are wrapping up their second full-length, Sentenced to Life, and are poised to play much bigger venues this time next year. Arrive early. (Comet, 922 E Pike St, www.comettavern.com, 9 pm, $8, 21+)
