If you think this shit is "revolutionary", then maybe can follow Mark Lamont Hill and get your doctorate in cRap music.

Another great article! I love reading your stuff Charles. Your small but potent detail of tricky/golden gate brigde totally put me in a time machine. Mad props to the many knowledgable record dealers in Frisco! What up Rasputin's!

So, just heard that Tricky PE "cover" for the first time ever last weekend on the radio. I seriously freaked out. Also wrote down the name. Also a revolutionary moment. Although I just heard it a few days ago. I have to say, I was kind of disappointed that it was released in the 90's. It kind of would have been cooler if someone had gone back to "Yo Bum Rush The Show" in 2012. Seems like everyone was covering PE in the 90's. But still, mm hmm. Also freaked out over the Sugar Hill Gang in "79 (older sister, who also brought home Kraftwerk's "Autobahn" around that time, bless her heart) and will never forget tooling around in my first car, a Volkswagen, singing "Suckers to the side I know you hate my 98". Thanks
