This is one of my favorite bedtime albums. yes, like that.

I like Vol II enough, but this Dave Segal should be given some music demerits for not having you listen to Vol I first. That there is the true gold.

It definitely is elfin wedding music two-hits-of-acid quinoa-mainlining (???) music for sure, but it's just such a classic. It's such a must-have for ambient music. Hell, I've been listening to this record over the past couple weeks as I've been doing calculus work and it seems to have helped somewhat in a sort of placebo-y way, at least to get me into the mindset to do abstract mathematical work. Very easy to listen to for extended periods of time, too.

Bonus points for the exacting focus on the enigma Dave Segal.
