I've heard The Waitresses a couple times this holiday season. Never realized how badass the bass line is. She knows what boys like!

Thank you for not including Dean Martin. A generation of Americans are still scared by the man.

"Father Christmas" - The Kinks

Surprised "Merry Christmas from the Family" didn't make the list! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dkAQ9KF…

What, no "Jingle Dogs"?

@5 The celeste on that song is heavenly.

How can James Brown's "Santa Clause Go Straight to the Ghetto" not be on that list?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ay_F1nn… "Christmas TV" deserves to be all over the radio.

"It's Christmas and You're Boring Me" is a close second. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlZJBwfx…

Man, that video was poignant. Kirsty MacColl, author of "They Don't Know" and daughter of songwriter ("The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face"), Ewan MacColl passed away oh, so many years ago. Nice to see her in this.

On the other hand man, Shane MacGowan's teeth! Yuck!
The Pogues were one band I regret not seeing in their heyday. A good friend of mine saw them in London in the 80s. She said it was raucous. MacGowan was apparently blotto drunk on stage. But, it would have been cool to see them there, in NYC or Dublin.

Since no one has posted it, this is the finest Christmas song of all time.

Greg Lake, "I believe in Father Christmas"

"Christmas Wrapping" needs to be tied into a sack alongside McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime" and thrown in the ocean.

Please wait...
