The first thing I thought when I saw Trent had interviewed Barry Manilow was, "God I hope Trent sang to Barry." (Trent, when you sing to people in your interviews it's my favorite.) Then there was "Mandy". So, thanks. This is going to make my Mom's day. However, nothing beats your AC/DC one. You were on a train with AC/DC people going to an AC/DC concert singing AC/DC. Primo! Also cool thing Barry is doing with instrument donations.

"duets with dead people" would have been a better title.

I hate hate hate duet albums. (Exceptions: Jones and Wynette and Gaye and Terrell.) But I don't care: I seriously unironically love Barry Manilow.

Between this story and the recent Neil Diamond love fest, I feel like I'm reading Slog in 1978 in the living room of my Mom's middle aged Jewish friends. Don't tell me - Barbara Steisand is next up?
