The "anonymous" component of IA seems to suffer a great deal when it's written by someone who's going to be easily identified by those he/she is explicitly addressing. I've said it before, but I long for the days when composing a submission for this column required a bit more effort, perhaps even a trip to the post office. Luddites forever.

What difference does it make if they don't like the composer even though the like the song? They aren't criticizing your songwriting.
