An amazing show and a hopefully another good album!

My decidedly white 17 year old stepson had this on auto-repeat most of last Saturday, so I think it played roughly three times in succession. As a decidedly white middle-aged cis male I only sort of half-listened, but have to admit it did start to settle in after the second go-round. This review now makes me want to give it a more focused listen.

my trajectory of appreciation for him has taken a similar arc. thanks for this. but DUDE, i can feel your re-energy in these newer columns since you moved south. it's keeping me warm up here in seattle! was hoping my wife & i would run into you at the palladium .paak show to thank you personally but alas. so fwiw, thanks for all YOU do, have done, etc. one of the best messengers that i can rely on!

I just can't buy him, it feels like a very well thought-out facade. People mistake affectations for authenticity. He's an actor first and foremost, none of his work in music has any staying power.
