The Showbox is the best venue in the city, possibly the entire region. There is not a bad place to be in the Showbox, you can always see the stage.
So many good shows I've seen: The Jim Rose Circus, Einstürzende Neubauten was amazing, Amanda Palmer, so many more.
Discovering for the first time that ~Seattlites DO actually dance~ at an fantastic Dudley Manlove Quartet cover-band funk show... the entire floor was actually bouncing...
They better not knock it down if they know what's good for them. Without awesome places to go, the city becomes less compelling to live in.
No Motorhead? No Headcoats/Headcoatees? Saw a great semi-interactive Bukowski play there once too.
