You do know that even the academy bathroom attendants walk home with statues, right?

2

I had to do some googling to make sure that Sean Nelson is still alive.

Hi... I really don't know how old you are... but haven't u ever heard her music playing in some adult contemporary radio stations by the mid-late 2000s??? "The Story" was a great song (not just melodically, but lyrically) and I really loved that whole album (it was not as folksy)... Her performance of The Joke last night was great... Anyway, I also think that Shonda Rhimes used her music in Grey's Anatomy since the show supposedly happens in Seattle... Perhaps, that is just too mainstream for you, but take this from a peruvian guy, in his mid 40s and who lives in Lima, Peru!!! So, I agree most peruvians won't know Brandi, but I was not aware how unknown she is for u guys... (not just the LGBTQ community, but the whole US of A), Best! Federico

I didn't know that there was a genre called "Lesbian" as far as music goes. Anyways, I still don't like BC's music. It just doesn't do anything for me. Since this is The Stranger, I'm probs gonna be labeled as anti gay since I have a mind of my own. Oh well......

I almost bit on this. Shame on the times for their article. You get two smiley faces!

I've never had strong feelings about the name "Katie." From now on, though, it'll call to mind strip-club daydrinkers who blithely engage in death-hoaxing their friends/ex-colleagues.

Best review ever!

If she follows the great path of lesbian rockers she'll be playing Zootunes at Woodland Park Zoo soon.

She is the best. Check out her last album too - Firewatcher’s Daughter. Great article, Katie!
