If you’re looking for a cool, music-forward event this weekend, Enby Party has you covered. The non-binary-centric (or “enby” fyi) music and art collective is throwing a show and album release party at Cafe Racer this Saturday. The record in question, Enby Party Compilation Vol. 3, features tracks from local bands like “gunk pop” purveyors Black Ends and the sad soft punk of Emma Lee Toyoda, plus Portland’s Cay Is Okay and Brooklyn-based Marblemouth. The night’s killer lineup of enby musicians features rapper DaQween, Goners Motorcycle Club’s twangy tunes, noted crooner Izumi, Vancouver’s SoyJoy, and Compilation’s Toyoda. If you’re feeling spendy, pick up some wares from non-binary artists Sporty Melon (those necklaces!), Theo Chhan (those earrings!), and Kid Lerner and Spur Lowe Gardens (those art prints!). The collective will also accept mutual aid items for Creative Justice NW, so bring ’em if you have ’em!

Enby Party at Cafe Racer goes down on Saturday, July 16. Doors at 7 pm, show at 7:30 pm. Masks and vaccination cards are required. Tickets are available on a sliding scale from $10-$20.Â
